The Bible says in Habakkuk 2:2, “…Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Here at Lord of Hosts Church, we have an inspiring and multi-faceted vision to build! Below are the main areas of focus we believe the Lord has given us through the leadership of Pastors Hank and Brenda Kunneman. With some parts of the vision still in the future, you will find that many areas are already working in their early stages.
- Build a Spirit-filled Church
We are building a multi-cultural, Spirit-filled church, and a global outreach. One avenue in that endeavor is to hold local, regional, national and international conferences through the ministry of Lord of Hosts Church and One Voice Ministries. Our prayer of faith is to build the church on a lake facility in a park-like setting. In addition to building a church, we desire to create an outdoor ministry facility, such as an amphitheatre for outreach and ministry crusades.
- Training and Discipleship
To equip believers in the Word and power of God, through the ministry of 242 Discipleship Groups, with emphasis on small group interaction and hands on ministry training. We also intend for these small groups to meet needs on a personal level.
- Prayer Center and a House of Intercession
With prayer being central in all we do, we will create a 24 hour prayer center. Open for church members, it would also house prayer cabins/rooms for extended prayer.
- Teaching Material, Media and Television Ministry
Our vision is to preach the uncompromised Word of God and demonstrate the anointing of God in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. To aid in that endeavor, we are developing life-changing teaching materials and books for children and adults. We also foresee a publishing center and ministry press as well as ministry through television.

We are building ministry to the needy through many avenues both locally and overseas. Locally, we extend our help through the support of Mission For All Nations, here in Omaha. Nationally, we support missions financially in the United States and overseas and send ministry teams to the nations.
- Christian and Ministry Education
We are positioned in our faith to establish Christian education in daycare, preschool and Christian school. We will pioneer a Bible school with emphasis on missions, full-time ministry and have dorms for national and international students.
- Community Outreach and Family Ministry
Family Ministry: We see the ability to minister by having a vocational trade program that will encourage people to become gainfully employed in a field of expertise. Included in the vision we desire to create a facility for ministry to the community. It will house a coffee shop, Christian bookstore, thrift store, craft shop and restaurant.
Children’s/ Youth Ministry: Our goal is to create a children’s ministry fun center, train rides and puppet ministry. We will have a youth center for teen outreach, with recreational rooms and game emporium. We are also focused on the whole family with a dream to build a family center with a workout facility and gymnasium. We also see the vision for Christ-centered athletic fields.
Seniors: For the senior’s ministry, we are setting sights toward a retirement community and assisted living center where seniors can thrive in God’s Kingdom. In that goal, we desire to have a light auto-mechanical facility to help seniors, widows and those in need.
