Vertical 12:1 ministers to teens from between the sixth and twelfth grades. The youth group meets each Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the youth room. There is no Vertical 12:1 on the last Wednesday every month.
Vision
Vertical 12:1 carries a powerful and life-changing vision. At Lord of Hosts Church we know that today’s teens are on the frontline of spiritual warfare. Our heart is to help every youth realize their potential to be an overcomer and on fire for God in some very controversial times. We want to raise up a generation of teenagers that love the Lord and carry a bold testimony.

At Vertical 12:1 we are imparting the power of God to our teens! Youth are learning how to use the sword of God’s Word as a mighty weapon of righteousness. During a youth service teens will be fired up with relevant, Bible based ministry that impacts them in a powerful way.
They will receive teaching, prayer ministry and enjoy the support of group discussions. Our teens are not only being ministered to, but they are learning how to become God’s ministers of righteousness!
Teens will also enjoy the social environment of other on-fire youth. They will find themselves in a setting where the “in-thing” is to be totally radical for God!
Other Activities
The Vertical 12:1 Group also schedules other activities for the teens. There are overnighters, movie nights, pizza parties, putt-putt, picnics and sporting events. Teens have also been involved in helping with missions on various levels and ministering to the needy in South Omaha.
