Prayer Ministry

We consider it an honor and a privilege to stand in agreement with those who entrust us with their prayer requests.  Here at Lord of Hosts Church we have what is called the “A.S.K. Prayer Ministry.”  Ask, Seek, and Knock:  Matthew 7:7, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you.  This prayer ministry is dedicated to gather in prayer several times throughout the day with different groups who Ask, Seek, and Knock in prayer and expect to see God move and answer prayers.   Members of LOH Church can get involved by calling the office or stopping by the Visitor Counter.  We believe that as we link our faith with yours, your needs will be met and the power of God will touch your life in a supernatural way.

Pastoral Care

This ministry of pastoral care provides care for our members and is an important part of Lord of Hosts Church. As a pastoral staff, we believe that we have a God-given responsibility to minister to the members of this congregation whom the Lord has entrusted into our care. The pastoral care ministry is described below. Prayerfully, we are always considering ways to increase the effectiveness of our ministry, so regular updates are made. Current updates are usually available at the visitor information counter. However, should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office.
We currently provide care in the following primary areas:
Baby/Child Dedications
Spiritual Guidance/Counseling
Homegoing/Memorial Services
Hospital Visit Requests/Prayer for the Sick
Care For New Mothers
Ministry For Special Needs/Long Term Care

2:42 Home Groups

This life-changing ministry, for ages 18 and older, meets in designated homes on the last Wednesday of every month.  One of the greatest empowerments of the local church is when believers encourage and strengthen one another.  Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."  Here at Lord of Hosts Church we have developed a special ministry for this purpose that we call 242 Home Groups.
The 242 Home Groups are based on the Scripture found in Acts 2:42.  It says, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."   In this verse we find a pattern in the early church which we believe to be a pattern that will bring Christians into a greater level of growth and personal relationship as a member of the body of Christ.

Wednesday Night Midweek Recharge

Come join us Wednesday night at Lord of Hosts Church for your Midweek Recharge!  These nights have been focused around preparing a place for whatever the Holy Spirit wants to do.  It could be prayer, personal ministry, or teaching, but the important thing is to come and join your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to charge up your spirit!
Wednesday services begin promptly at 7pm CT.

Life Empowerment

The Life Empowerment Classes offered at LOH are designed to provide life building skills for everyday living for individuals 16 years and older. The group settings offer support, prayer and personal spiritual growth alongside people of like-minded faith. No child care available during the classes.

Divorce Care

Unless you’ve been there, it’s hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring group and you will learn how to successfully rebuild your life following separation or divorce. This support group will be a safe and protective environment for you to receive the healing you need. We have received many testimonies of healing from those who participated in our previous Divorce Care Support Group sessions.

Gamechangers is a multi-generational group of Believers (ages 18+) whose identity is firmly rooted in the revelation of who God is and who He has called us to be according to Colossians 3:11-17. We are united in our core beliefs to instill a kingdom-first culture across multiple generations.

Our purpose is to raise up a generation of Believers to go "next level" from pursuing worldly passions to operating boldly in our purpose to establish God's kingdom in every area of society according to biblical principles.

God has an intense desire for His people to understand that their identity comes directly from Him. God makes it a priority for His people to know the difference between their own desires and His purpose for them. In order to truly make a difference for God's kingdom, we have to live beyond our passions and preferences and choose to seek His will for our lives.

Gamechangers meet on the last Friday of each month for in-person gatherings as a way to connect and establish godly relationships with fellow Believers.
