Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated. While the Bible teaches many principles on prayer, prayer simply begins with a conversation.Begin by talking to God like you would a friend and do so each day. From there, make time to learn from those who pray, learn what the Bible says on prayer and eventually you will have a good prayer foundation.
The Bible is God’s Word to us.God will not only communicate to you as you read the Bible, but you will also learn truths that will teach you about God’s character, His ways and His heart.Don’t know where to begin?Begin in the New Testament or in one of the four Gospels (the first four books of the New Testament).
A good church is one that teaches the truths of the Bible.Getting involved is not just attending, but it also includes connecting through the ministry avenues of the church. It also includes serving and volunteering to help the church reach the community.Involvement gives you a greater sense of purpose to help others know Jesus personally.
Having Christian friendships is key to staying on track in your Christian journey.Isolation and lack of interaction with stable Christians is what pulls most people off track. If you are involved in church, work on developing friendships in church. You will be so glad you did!
